Certified Medical Assistant

 

DermKing Institute is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for our reputable and high volume dermatology and multi-specialty aesthetic practice in Beverly Hills who will help us create excellent patient centered care experiences.

Work Location: Beverly Hills, CA. On-Site.

Hours:  Part-Time, 30 hours. 9:30a-5:30pm (Tuesday-Friday) with opportunity for full time to include either Mondays or Saturdays within 90 days.
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:

 

• At least 2 years recent experience working as a Medical Assistant in a dermatology outpatient, clinical/medical office setting (Minimum).

• Vocational/Technical Diploma - Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited educational program (Minimum)

• Certified Registered Medical Assistant Certification from Board approved Medical Assistant Organization

• Standing, Walking Sitting, Lifting 50 lbs

 

Required Skills & Expertise:
 

• Proficiency with intramuscular injections, venipuncture & phlebotomy. 

• Patient prep for aesthetic treatments such as injectables, lasers, facials & chemical peels.

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), at least 1 year.

• Proficient in typing, taking, and transcribing notes.

• Able to navigate software systems and online portals required for patient care.

• Proficient on MAC and iPad.

• Previous experience with EMA, also known as Modernizing Medicine Dermatology is highly desirable but not required.

• Self starter, proactive, and anticipates needs of the patient, provider, and team.

• Strong customer service skills including communicating in person and by email/text. Able to confidently answer patient questions about procedures, products, and all services offered in the practice.

• Comfortable with sales.
